Reliance Communication Ltd. launched an Android powered tablet called the Reliance 3G Tab. The Reliance 3G comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with Android 2.3 OS. Loaded with 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage which supports up to 32GB micro SDHC.
Weighing in at 389 grmas, the 3G Tab has a 2.0MP rear camera and a front camera for video calling. The 3G Tab will also be coming with a full version of Documents To Go, thereby allowing one to view and edit documents on the fly using the Tablet.
The Reliance 3G Tab is an amazing device with the 7-inch form factor for Internet email on the go, social networking, video streaming, gaming etc. supported by Reliance Communications’ superior 3G network. Other features include Mobile TV, voice calling, GPS and video recording. Reliance 3G Tab is pre-loaded with 15 most popular applications to provide information services (browsing, navigation maps and search), communication services (email, blog, SMS, and MMS), entertainment services (music, video, and games), and social networking services (Facebook, Twitter, and Orkut) and access to thousands of applications provided through the Android Market.

Reliance 3G Tab is being launched in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata and will be available in Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores across the 13 3G circles in the next few days. Supporting the launch, a 24X7 customer care will be made available to the customers for all technical assistance. Reliance 3G Tab is attractively priced at Rs. 12,999 and can be used with any of the 3G voice and/or data plans available from Reliance. Reliance Communications is also offering a free 4GB SD card, but, customers can upgrade the memory up to 32 GB. He further added “Equipped with the best 3G network in India, customers can now enjoy superior 3G broadband speeds for Internet access and uninterrupted data experience without buffering on their Reliance 3G Tab along with a host of other features.”
These recent launches from Reliance clearly indicate that Reliance is on the prowl. In the past few weeks, Reliance has done a lot of innovative advertising for its superior 3G services and also collaborated with LG to market the Optimus series. With the addition of the Tablet, It’s clear that Reliance wants a bigger section of the pie in the fierce telecom market.
Reliance 3G Tab also comes with exclusive bundled data service plans and discounts of up to 50 percent.
